1) Quality Assurance Framework

Purpose: Defines how NTC designs, delivers, assesses, and reviews its programmes.
Key points:

  • Annual programme monitoring and enhancement plans.
  • Internal moderation of assessments and second marking.
  • Externality (e.g., external examiner / awarding body standards) where applicable.
  • Student feedback cycles (mid-module / end-of-module).

2) Assessment Regulations & Academic Integrity

Purpose: Rules for assignments, exams, grading, re-assessment, and progression.
Academic Integrity: Zero tolerance for plagiarism, contract cheating, and misuse of AI tools. Turnitin (or equivalent) may be used.
Appeals: Formal route to challenge an academic decision.

3) Admissions & Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Purpose: Transparent, fair, and inclusive admissions.
